I have been looking at alot of pixilations to get ideas for my own and I found this one on youtube by user 'TheLastLaugh'.
I really like the way the character doesnt move his feet but still moves his upper body, it gives the short film extra depth as it is not just about the man moving through different surroundings.
I plan to use some of these characteristics in my own short pixilation.

Ok so an ispirational or practitioner that i love or hate.
It could be the wrong way to look at this but i decided to think of a piece of design i liked first rather than an actual person. One piece of design i think stands head and sholders above anything else in its category is the iPod.
Jonathan Ive is the senior vise president of industrial design at Apple and is the principle designer of the iMac, iPhone, iPod, MacBook, MacBook Pro and the PowerBook G4.
The reason i have chosen Jonathan Ive is that i think his designs are so different, original and incredibly simple but still result in the product working fantasically. Whenever a new Apple product is released i cant wait to get down to an apple shop to have a look, feel and play with it. Call me sad but i just think that Apple design is better than any other.
For this reason i have chosen the main designer of the iPod Jonathan Ive as a sort of inspiration. If i was to design a product i would take the simplicity features of Apple's products into consideration.

Design Methodologies
I was in Chris Cooks One shot short seminar and this describes the design process of my groups short film.
Discovering
The main inspiration we had to make our one shot short was a specific location. One member of the group had recently visited the galleries of justice and told us about a brilliant coutroom that would be a great location for our film. When we had an idea of the location the whole group pitched different suggestions for camera movements and different characters. One way of us coming up with the idea of a point of view short was by watching other short films. We sat and brainstormed for a while until we had an idea we were all happy with, the idea of having the entire film in point of view was a favourite with everyone.
Developing
After choosing our idea we went to the galleries of justice to book our location. There was a fee but this allowed us to begin filming at 9 sharp the next day. we had an hour to film which was plenty as we had allready planned our film.
to be continued.......

Introduction to stop motion
Second introduction lesson, Stop motion.
To get a box to end up the other side of a house type shape.
Our group decided to go for the wierd and wonderful technique of using both ourselves and the drawings. It soon turned pretty random and resulted in a dog poo turning into a person, hey, you can do anything with animation.

Introduction to Multimedia: Pinhole Photography

It once started out in life simply holding 440ml of Carlsberg. However with the use of a can opener, pin, cardboard and a shed load of gaffa tape it finished it as a camera.
First I cut off all the light getting into the can with gaffa tape then put a hole in the front. I curled round a piece of photographic paper and went outside to find my shot.
The first shot was badly placed and I could barely see what it was of, i think this was due to covering the hole up too soon after opening it. The second shot was much better and clearly showed the building it was of.
Photos will soon follow.
Success!
