Artifact 2 feedback

Feedback from my tutor group showed that I need to show the difference between the photograph and the render and how it will help a client see them both together scaled correctly. Also I need to show my workings to help my artifacts prove how I got to my final outcome. The trees in this photomontage are also poorly cut out. It wasn't until I had a brain wave today that I figured out a way of fixing that problem, meaning I don't have to cut them by hand. I will upload more pictures of my process at a later date, the reflections in the glass work well and the main building fits in also. The part that makes the whole picture look unrealistic is the transition in the middle where the path gets cut up by the render of the building.

Artifct 2

Photomontage.

By using mirrored materials and realistic lighting i created shadows and reflection maps to make this 3D building look like it's sitting in a real life scene.

Feedback

The feedback I got from my tutorial group this was to look at the scaling of the round reception desk. I agree it looks too small compared to the wall of screens. Another comment I got was regarding the busy-ness of the wall of screens. People thought there were too many. I've modelled the wall to scale and the screens are also the correct size as the designs so I don't want to tamper with the clients designs too much.
